I've been shooting film with film for just over a decade, and this is my first Canon camera period. This EOS 650, being build in the late 80's still performs exactly how it should & all modes work properly. It's amazing, they just don't make thing's like they used to. This camera is in no way perfect, but it's perfect for what I need it for right now. I'm excited to see how my first photos come out.

The Canon 650, in my opinion, is one of the best bang-for-your-buck SLRs out there currently. It is reaching a ridiculously low price point and some really fresh copies are starting to come out of Japan. The camera itself is built like a tank, and the camera will take any Canon EOS lens made from 1987 to present. This means that if you have already invested in lenses for Canon's digital system, you don't have to go and buy more lenses to shoot on 35mm film. These cameras are fantastic and if I ever needed another, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

The camera that started canon’s entry into the EOS system. Don’t let the placid body fool you. This camera is rock solid and as modern as ever. It will take any if the EF mount lenses. It won’t play well with the ef-s lenses as ther She have a slightly different mount. But this is a solid camera with a bright viewfinder -
