I personally enjoy Mr. Steigerwalts art deco like style mixed with modern materials. It's a neat knife with style and not your run of the mill tactical edc folder, though it functions like one. Push the thumb stud down and out at the same time and the blade flies out of there with a solid whack when the liner lock engages. I will say I wish CRKT had just gone with a detent and bearings. While this assisted opening method works, I'd say it only works pretty good, but not spectacular. When pushing down and out on the stud on a few of the models I have, you really must pay attention and be deliberate on the your movement or the blade can hang up while still folded and you must reset the blade to full closed position to do it over again. When you get to know the blade though it rarely happens. It's a trade off I readily accept. Igor is what I call my Ignitor, it's like a middleweight edc I'd say. It'll do everything pretty well and look good doing it.Read full review

honestly I was a little bothered at first by the way it opens. (you have to push down on the thumstud then open. it locks closed) BUT after I used it a few times I got use to it and now I really like it. its fast and opens with authority, it has a heavy spring for assisted opening. you push the stud down then open a little and bam its open. I like the fact that it locks closed if you leave it on the table or something a child wont be able to open it. the blade seems to be good steel and it is sharp.(I can shave hair with it) this is the first knife I bought in 20 years that has been this sharp out of the package. overall so far I like it. its sharp and sturdy. nothing has come loose yet and I open it often. I would and probably will buy another.(or 3 for my boys when the get old enough.) bottom line it looks good its built good and is sharp. happy.Read full review

I have a CRKT Badger knife bought ten years ago. Then after I got to know Outburst system. I loved it ever since. The highlight of the CRKT Ignitor is green, the shape of the blade and the grip handle is very handy. If you have tried it once. You will like it, and it's still cheap.
