Don’t let anyone tell you there’s a better scope for the money. If there is I’d like to see it. I have a $300 Nikon Omega, which, while very nice, can’t hold a candle to this “entry level” Burris in terms of clarity. The one caveat is the short eye relief. I had to max out the rearward dovetail travel on my CZ 455, using some narrow Leupold vertical split rings to get it where it needed to be, but it got there. If you can get the eye relief right on this scope, the clarity of the glass for the price you pay is astonishing.
