I liked the book. It was a quick read and was fun for me as an avid Burn Notice fan. It was like watching an episode of Burn Notice! I definitely like picking up a book and already knowing the characters and what to expect, the author of this book stayed true to the characters we all know and love. Well except for one exception, Michael says a few words that well his mother might not approve of. I guess it's strange to think of Michael Westen throwing around cuss words after a few years of USA network. Of course I realize that this is more realistic so no biggie, but still it was a bit surprising. Either way, it was definitely worth reading for a Burn Notice fan.
The Fix finds Michael Westen helping wealthy socialite Cricket O'Connor try to get her money back from a handsome world traveler who has disappeared and is supposedly an ex government agent. The story reads just like an episode of the Burn Notice series which was a pleasant surprise. Tod Goldberg captures the essence of the series perfectly, I could actually see it as I read it, it's that close. There are five books in the series. This is the first. It's a quick read and very funny. A must! The End Game finds Westen helping Gennaro Stefania, a yacht helmsman in the Hurricane Cup try to get his wife and daughter back from kidnappers. A quick read, just like watching an episode of Burn Notice. Good book.
Goes into detail and offers a better look inside Mike's head. A+
