This is my second Bull outdoor refrigerator. The first one made it 13 years. The bottom rusted out due to moist conditions where the fridge resided . Not really designed for outdoor enclosed use, as it does not have adequate ventilation at the bottom. My pool builder designed the stone enclosure to fit this fridge and I was forced to use this model again. My unit faces the Texas sun for over 8 hours a day. I was skeptical after reading all the negative reviews but overall I have been happy with it's cooling ability. For the price, it keeps my beer cold when on the bottom rack and set at 4th out of 5th coldest setting. PBR has to be cold on a hot Texas summer day !!!

I have it cranked all the way to 6 an hour it is not cold enough. May be a good indoor fridge but not for outdoor as it is advertised

I want to use this outdoor refrigerator for beverages on purpose covered patio. Unfortunately the wires on the wire shelves are so far apart the drinks want to tip over. Seems to cool ok. Definitely an up grade from the Magic Chef beverage center that lasted 13 months. (Just 1 month beyond the warranty)

Not sure why you ask about how it heats. It’s a refrigerator. Ok. I’m very happy with this addition to my outdoor kitchen!
