Review may contain spoilers. This book was very interesting it was not what I expected it to be. The characters were well developed, they were characters that you could fall in love with and I did fall in love with them. I had not realized that the book was part of a series so now I've bought all of them and Im reading them in order. If you want to be surprised and to understand the characters in this book i suggest you read the others as they contain back story. You have Jordan and Noah who have had feelings for each other but are now coming to realize and thus act on these feelings. The novel begins against a mystery that revolves around the Buchanan and MacKenna wedding and reveals that there is a long forgotten feud between these families. The bearer of this information is an eccentric professor who claims to be a MacKenna. The professor is later found dead. The interesting part of the story is that at first you think that the old family feud was the main reason for the professors death but you are in for a surprise. I highly recommend this book and also recommend that you get the other books as this is actually the last one in the series. The only think I can complain about was the fact that the villains character wasn't really explained in enough detail.Read full review
I am an avid reader and Julie Garwood is one of my favorite authors..When I need more books, I search for Julie Garwoods books and I found Shadow Dance which was another great book by this author which I hadn't read..plus the cost was very reasonable... The story was great...
Adventurous with a twist.
