A Great Product!
Bose has taken a lot of flack in recent years for many of the same reasons Apple has. Many professionals argue that Bose and Apple products are too simple and are overpriced based on performance of products in similar price ranges. What Bose (and Apple) offer isn't the best spec sheet or best value, they offer a well built product that is very durable and simple to use. It just works! It has a simple volume knob that doubles as an on off switch. Setup is simple too! The speakers have a balanced sound that is good for lots of music. They are also heavy and feel very durable. Sure, similar speakers may have some features that are better than these Bose speakers, but overall, these speakers are rugged, easy to use, handsome, and sound good. It's a simple solution for people who like decent sound with no hassles.

Great Deal on a Great Used Pair of Bose Companion 2 Speakers
I've used these speakers for years. Got a great deal on this pair for use in my office at work. Love the depth of sound for two "desktop" speakers. Find a pair on eBay, make sure it comes with all the cables (like the pair I bought did), and make the buy!

Together again
I purchased these same speakers a few years ago and sold them because I replaced them with the Bose computer speakers with subwoofer which has a richer sound. Since I am downsizing I decided to return to these speakers which take up less real estate on my desktop. They were received in pristine condition and they sound fine.

Good Buy
I wanted a pair of Bose speakers for my desktop and I am pleased with my purchase. I matched this pair up with a subwoofer (because I have music that demands serious bass capacities). The Companion 2’s do very well in the high range and well in most midrange, which is great for rock and most Jazz, but if you need the “Monster Bass”, I suggest a subwoofer accompaniment. I like the my Bose.

Very "Hi-Fidelity" for a compact speaker.
Throughout the years I have had many computer speakers. These Bose speakers are the most realistic and sound fantastic. I do have audiophile quality speakers that I listen to often with vinyl and CD so I am familiar with "excellent" sounds. For the price of these Bose, it certainly makes the music from my computer sound "almost" audiophile quality.

Best value used speakers
Simply put, these are a bargain used if you're after sub $50 speakers for your PC. I heard things in songs that I didn't hear on my previous speakers, speech is also very clear. They can sit upright behind your monitor(s), can probably lay flat too though i've not tried this. If you're tight on space or don't want a soundbar setup, these will also enhance sound on a regular TV.

Nice PC speakers
I have a couple pair of these and use them at home and work. Have had one pair for years and never had any issues with them. They have a nice tone (although colored) for use with a PC or laptop. You can even use them for your phone speakers if you want.

Awesome Speakers!
When I received these speakers in the mail I was surprised that they were so small, but they have beautiful sound quality. I got them to enhance the sound of my TV and boy do they enhance the sound. They make movies sound like they are in surround even with only two little speakers. I heard a lot about Bose but now I know what they are talking about. Big things come in small packages. I love them!
