The first few times of use, the jig is pretty tight. Once you do a dozen arrows, it loosens up and is a breeze to use. It comes with one piece of silver tape to prevent glue from sticking, but I didn't use it. I do a dozen arrows, use a dull razor and scrape the excess glue off and that works just fine for me. If you keep it clean, the results are great.

Problem is it is light weight. I worry about durability, and It as to be mounted to use. I also wish it came with an extra jig to use 4-inch veins not only 2-inch.

The plastic used for this jig is horrible. Fletching dial did not stay accurate. If you are looking for a great jig spend the extra money and buy a Bitzenburger. Made of medal alloy and will last a lifetime. best jig made.
