This is a great bluetooth, and I would have given it five stars but for one thing: When powered up, the earpiece tells me that the charge is high prior to several uses, then all of a sudden, I hear beeps, and it powers itself off. So I guess there is no message that says the charge is medium or low, just high then nothing. On the positive side, though, everyone tells me my voice is clear, there is no annoying crackle, and I have yet to drop a call. I usually have a problem with an ear hook because my sunglasses rest on it, making the earpiece pop out of position or hang at an awkward angle. I don't need the ear hook for this bluetooth; the ear gel fits snugly and comfortably in my ear. I previously had a Q2, and this Q3 is, hands down, superior. The double-click to directly access phone commands is great, and the voice recognition is so much better than its predecessor. Some work still needs to be done on the text command, as I have to speak so quickly and without pause that Siri often mis-hears words and puts some pretty crazy things into the text :0Read full review

Pulls away from sides of face. Tried other ear peaces still did the same. Clear sound though, good features although would not dial some numbers when I asked it to. Would resound with this "this feature is not supported by this headphone"????.

I have always had good success with BlueAnt products. I was using a Plantronics device that my wife had used before here car was BT enabled. When I switched to Q3i, people told me I sounded clearer. I would have liked the on/off switch to be located in a position that I could use once the unit was in my ear. The only problem I have with this unit is the ear gells. The small one is too small and always falls out. The large one pops out after being in the ear for short time. (I think I need a medium gell. :-) ) I am using the gells without the ear loop on this unit.

Overall it is a good product, but I don't know if the inconsistencies I have witht he device are because I bought it New other, which means maybe it was a knock off of an authentic BlueAnt device. When I try to use the hands free calling I never know what I am going to get, but most of the time it is not the person i want to call. Most often after I announce the name from the address book I want to call, it comes back and says it is calling the last incomming call. I think BlueAnt could have done a better job at locating the volume button and made the fit a little more flexible to fit my ear better. Sound quality is very good on the incomming side, and when asked, people say the clarity is very good on the outgoing side too. I like the overall design, one of the details being the metal earpiece instead of plastic; have had a number of Bluetooth headsets with plastic and they don't seem to last long, and you can never find the spare (it fhere was one) of you can order it online for almost the cost of another headset. The only problem I have is that I seem to have a small ear channel, so the foam ear gasket won't stay in my ear. I have a bunch of them from another headphone that fits and works fine on this ... with that adaptation I like this unit better than any other I have had.
