Debbie Macomber has written another wonderful story about living on Blossom Street. I enjoyed her other books based on the yarn shop on Blossom.I find I enjoy her humor and the way the characters come to life. I found this book a quick read, one I was glad I didn't miss. I have read many of Macomber's books over the years, ever since the first ones came out in Harlequin/Silhouette books and I find I enjoy all her styles and I look forward to read her future stories!
Debbie Macomber captures the mood of Christmas with its sights and sounds in this wonderful Christmas story. Her likeable heroine, Katherine O'Connor, known as K.O. to her friends, even writes Christmas letters for other people as a second job.....her first being an at home medical transcriber. K.O. is very outspoken and honest and so when she crosses path with Wynn Jeffries, a child psychologist, she has a right to dislike him immediately! Her sister has been using the Dr.'s philosophy of raising free children and feels Santa should be buried under the sleigh, and since that time the kids have been running amuck. Disagreements and harsh words are spoken, but there is an undeniable attraction between the two which they both somehow come to realize may be special. But then they breakup before Christmas and during that time both K.O. and Wynn discover that love means accepting differences. The book will be of no great surprise.....I don't think it was meant to be, but it is very enjoyable and gives you a warm holiday feeling of love and sharing.Read full review

I love Debbie MacCombers books because they are about real people. I followed this book because it was about the "friends" I had already met from Blossom Street..and as I had hoped it let me know that we were not finished with our friends that share our passion of KNITTING! I am a die hard ebayer if the stores have it, so does ebay I can't wait to look and order..I am waiting for several more books as we speak! If it's about real people and real people that knit, all the better...thanks for allowing me to add my comments! Debbie Herbert, Kinston, NC
