Shipping was incredibly fast, and the price was very reasonable. The tool got the job done. It is easy to use. It is completely adequate for the ham and egger bike mechanic like me who might pull a crank now and then, and who doesn't want to spend money for the best. On the other hand, if you are a pro and money is no object, Park Tools makes a higher quality product for you.

Pros: Low cost Cons: Soft metal, shallow thread. I have tried this crank puller on 2 bikes. It work on the 1st, where the crank was attached relatively loose. But on the 2nd bike, where the fit was tighter - it pulled the thread on the crank. So, I am going to throw away this crank puller, and buy a decent one.

The main part of this tool works great and was sturdy enough to use it with a crescent wrench, hitting the wrench with a rubber mallet to remove the crank arms. The little red wrench piece does not provide enough torque for a crank that is seated well, as in hard to remove.

The puller is made of strong steel and well constructed. The wrench that comes with it is a little on the light side. The puller works great for the price. Can't ask for more.

THE MAIN TOOL WORKS, BUT THE SO CALLED "WRENCH" THAT COMES WITH IT, STRIPPED OUT ON FIRST USE, AS SOON AS I TRIED TO LOOSEN MY CRANK-SET IT STRIPPED. BUT THE MAIN PARTS OF THE SET WORK WELL, JUST USE YOUR OWN WRENCH OR ADJUSTABLE CRESCENT.
