I ordered beans for my bag and waited. I came home to a big box, ripped it open to find another big box. Ripped that open to find a glorious bag of sparkling white beads. I was so excited, I fetched the purple bag and white liner to get started. I cut open the corner of the bead bag and opened the too tiny for my comfort opening on the liner and thought, good luck self. Bad, bad luck. At first it was a beautiful white waterfall pouring into the liner. I shifted my arm the slightest and my beautiful waterfall raged and flooded my bed. Of course I panicked and couldn’t stay still and that waterfall spilled over to the floor. Okay. That’s okay. I’ll just pick it up and put it in the liner by hand, no problem. Enter, static electricity. Put your hand near the beads and they scatter like you’ve exposed them to the plague. An hour later, satisfied that I’ve managed to get them all into the liner I realized that there really are different sizes of bean bags and that the one I ordered was a kiddie size that now serves as a hopeful bed for the cat. The cat was very interested until it rubbed against it and it’s hair stood on end. Now it sits, lonely in the corner. Conclusion, research and order the right size. Or better yet, buy it where you can see it. The beads though, as troublesome as they were, were pearly white and did the exact job they were made to do. I would recommend.Read full review

They need to CHANGE the packaging for these beans, as a TON of them kept sticking to the bag they came in & I couldn't separate them from their packaging no matter how hard I tried... (Nothing could be done...) Also in that packaging, the beans that I could get out DIDN'T pour EASILY, went all over the place, and alot of vacuuming had to be done... (Which means alot of money was wasted...) Again, they NEED to CHANGE their packaging.... (Or maybe add something to the beans so that they won't stick to the inside of the bag they came packaged in....)

Lucky I had a child size bean bad because that's what it fills up,for an adult size you would need two bags. For my purpose it worked fine. Good deal I guess......

Great authentic product! I would definitely use a funnel system. We cut a water bottle in half and put some of the holed end in the bag and the other side in where the beans were. It can get messy quickly but I think a tin can would have worked better. You have to create a funnel then open the red chair slowly with a paperclip. After, slowly have 1 person hold the chair hole open while the other slowly pours from the bean refill bag. If it is not a somewhat tight seal, beans will get everywhere. It took about 30 min to fill and clean up some additional beans on floor. My red dorm chair was partially filled so 1 bag was enough but if it was completely empty I would recommend refilling with 2.

Good price ($16.99) for 100L and the beans do their job just fine. Obviously the hardest part is getting the beans into the chair. BUT FIRST, after cutting the bag open at the corner, throw in a couple of dryer sheets and shake the bag up for a while. This will eliminate the annoying static that keeps the beans stuck to the bag AND it will make them easier to "control" when pouring them into your beanbag. It does help to use two people but one person can do the job if careful. AND make sure there is NO wind, breeze, airflow in the area you are refilling the beanbag.
