As a bit of a zombie fan, I found J.L Bourne's first book "Day By Day Armageddon" entertaining but it was apparent that he didn't even come close to doing his military research about ICBMs and launch control facilities. That being said, I found his second book "Beyond Exile" to be one of the most entertaining books that I have read in the last few months! It was very engrossing to the point that I finished it in two days and gave up sleep in order to read it until the end. I'm now half way through the new Jack Higgins British spy novel, and it is not near as captivating as J.L.'s book. Bravo Mr. Bourne... Well done!
Great follow up to Bourne’s “Day by Day Armageddon”. Right up there with first book. Great read. I highly recommend it.

You'll have to read the first book in the series to really get this book. It's not super realistic but hey, it's a zombie book so it's all good. This is a good and easy read, I've got a few days worth of spare time in this and it's been a fun read. You'll enjoy it.
Excellent author and excellent series.

It was as gripping and exciting as the first novel however the format is more book than journal but it is just as addictive.
