BEYOND DEATH’S DOOR is a wakeup call for the brain-dead. As a Boeing 747 captain responsible for the safety of over 500 passengers per flight, I positively reject the kinds of hokum, like NDEs, that lead to destruction. While each NDE experience is tailored to suit the individual, always there is some incongruity incorporated in any given NDE that lets the reasoning person know that he or she isn’t dealing with real truth. Just as an artist autographs his painting, there always remains some telltale evidence, some smudgy fingerprint of the demonic left in full view. For example, the real Heaven is a place of perfection made by a perfect God where there is a total absence of suffering or ailments or incapacitation or deficiency in any form. Yet, one NDEer reports that during her NDE she found herself in “heaven” in a wonderful hospital undergoing treatment. Another NDEer reports that during her NDE, she met one of her relatives in Heaven who still needed a cane to assist him in walking. And, a third NDEer reported that a family member she saw in Heaven still needed to wear glasses to correct his poor vision. And so on. All of the incongruities inherent in NDEs are clear signs of deception and fraud, yet they almost always go unnoticed. Persons who experience NDEs so want to believe the delusion that there is nothing to be afraid of in death, no consequences follow from their sins, no need to amend their lives, that they overlook the obvious contradictions. Instead, these brainless, thoroughly hoodwinked NDEers go out to spread the “good news” that all dogs go to Heaven, regardless. Especially, these “judas-goat” NDEers attempt to mislead the terminally ill, blunt any attempt at final repentance and reconciliation with God. With the blind counseling the blind, both fall into the pit.— I only wonder how many souls have made the mistake of believing “Satan’s misguided little helpers,” (who aver that NDEs prove we have nothing to worry about), and are now in eternal torments because NDEs have, supposedly, debunked the prospect of judgment for one’s unrepented sins, and the need for true contrition for them, and an amendment of one’s life.— Beyond Death's Door is help for the brain-dead! Very good reading authored by a real life Heart Doctor who saw much of this first hand.

Dr. Rawlings has written a factual, clinical approach to his experiences in the Cardiac Care unit of his hospital. The book appears to be factual, accurate with no apparent objective other than to inform the uniformed regarding near death experiences. All-in-all a tremendous read.
