I get it from my mother, she collected recipie books on just about everything and now I have the lion,s share of them . I had seen this book in bookstores and always picked it up and then putit back down because I never seem to have enough $ with me when I found it so I went on ebay and there it was !! It has come in very useful andmy family enjoys the recipies that I make out of it and they are also very economical. I belong to a site that is for moms and I have shared many of these recipies and have gotten many thanks !! glad I got it !! I recommend this book for people who love to cook and are on a tight budget,it works.

I originally bought this cookbook back in 1992 I think it was. I loved it, it made keeping those recipes that you love from the back of cans, bottles, boxes and bags easier than writing them down and trying to keep track of the piece of paper. Then in May of 2006, my house burned to the ground and I lost everything including this book. I had to have another copy, so I seached ebay and what do you know, there it was. If you ever need to replace anything or everything, ebay is the place to look. I recommend this book to everyone who has ever forgotten how to make real nestle toll house cookies. It's the best cookbook out there.
I found recipes in this book that my grandmother, mother, and mother-in-law used to make, but never wrote down, thus I discovered why my versions of the same recipes did not taste as good as theirs. :o) The recipes in this book are easy to follow, as well as delicious. I have used it for a shower gift, along with a recipe box, dish towels and pot holders, marking recipes that our family has enjoyed.
