I really liked this series from the WB. It came out before the invention of the cable DVR, so everything had to be set on a VCR to capture the individual episodes on cable television... Ah, the good ol' days... Anyway, everyone in the family liked the new Batman. 65 VHS tapes later, the tapes can be replaced with small and compact DVD discs. As far as the DVD stories, the art work was colorful and detailed, the characters were entertaining, and the action was fast enough and strong enough to be dramatic, but also maintain a "G" rating for the kids. This DVD contains some of the better episodes and characters. There are six half hour episodes on this DVD. As far as the characters... "Inque" is a genetically mutated combatant who really only cares about one thing... and she stars in three of the episodes. The other three contain other sci-fi high tech stories. The "Heroes" from the episode with the same title are a DC version of the Marvel comics "Fantastic Four" and I am surprised they are not on a patent infringement suit somewhere...! That alone makes it worth watching...! Hey, I am just a parent looking for some decent cartoon programs for the kids that are not filled with coarse language, loading adult themes, and action adventure that is not gratuitous and excessive... Good luck out there...! JMHO...Read full review
