I wouldn't buy this book again so bad.. the quality of paper is like newspaper and the book contents is just simply formula.. don't waste money just buy used 'Introductory circuit analysis Author Boylestad 11edition' will be around same amount money you gotta pay but much better than this book

One of the best of the several Schaum's Outlines I've ever read. It is intended for freshman, first semester students who are just getting Calculus and will get La Place transforms later one. What impressed me really was how easy it is to learn because the concepts were precisely explained, and the solved problems were linear, going right along with the topics, in order, and get this....NO ERRORS ON ANY PROBLEM IN 17 CHAPTERS. There was one typo on a picture in (I think) chapter 6, but it was very minor (a reference for an inductor reactance was missing a "j"). This is a great way to get acquainted with EE if you maybe have completed high school algebra and want to see what it's all about. Like I said, there isn't a lot of breaking into transient response because math tools haven't been developed for solving differential equations, but it's great as an intro. There are lots of solved problems, and between solved and unsolved problems, there are about 100 per chapter. Well done! They really tried on this one, and it came out great as far as I'm concerned.Read full review
