Living in the Environment by G. Tyler Miller is a well written book that presents principles of the global environment in a manner which is not overly scholarly, yet is easy to comprehend. This book provides an ample amount of material in respect to each subject it presents as well as presenting a wide range of subjects which one may normally considering when thinking about earth's environments. However, this textbook can present itself with a heavy workload if all assignments presented were to be don in full.
i really like how it has a lot of diagrams and key term definitions. also, the main feature i like about this book is the companion site, which has an audio feature that reads you the book. it's a wonderful addition for audio learners.
I ordered Living In The Environment for a college course. I was seeking a cheaper price for the book because everybody else wanted to much for the book. My friend, Ashely told me to try e-bay for a better. At first i did not want to because i never did want an account through the web site. But, things turned out good and i got book at a cheaper price than everyone else in the class
I bought this book for my ecology class. Just like any biology book it is not the most fun, but it does have very clear pictures explaining the consepts one needs to know. The book is clearly writted, and easy to understand.
my book was not hard cover but i dont mind it still has the same info. should change to soft cover on info to allow people to know the real info that way people dont leave bad remarks
