My HAYDEN OC-1676 Rapid Cool Transsaver + Oil Cooler Kit made to my house this afternoon.. The cooler got to me just as I'm clearing a spot in the quonset hut to work on my transmission.. The HAYDEN Transmission Oil Cooler will get installed along with draining the transmission oil, pulling the tranny oil pan & changing the tranny oil filter, flushing the lines, radiator oil cooler tank, and installing a towing shift kit in the tranny valve body, adding an auxiliary tranny cooler with thermostatic temperature controller, flushing tranny oil out the torque converter, and refilling the whole tranny with Royal Purple Tranny Fluid.. It's ALL in a day's WORK! P.S.: Anyone else out there in th "world" would be WISE to ADD this transmission oil cooler IN SERIES with the radiator in-lower-tank transmission cooler for TWO main reasons; ESPECIALLY, if you live in colder climates: 1). Hauling heavier loads; living in areas with hills or steep inclines/declines; constant stop-&-go traffic puts severe strain on automatic transmission fluids shortens fluid & transmission life due to the elevated operating temperatures with fluid cooling provided by an in-tank oil-to-water heat exchange within the lower radiator tank itself (Operating temperature/s 25°F ABOVE NORMAL RANGE WILL SHORTEN your transmission's operational lifespan by as much as 15-20,000 MILES)! 2). Many vehicles with overdrive (lock-up) torque convertors use some form of a computer-controlled cold convertor lockup inhibitor; PARTICULARLY IF, the vehicle has a small-displacement engine which will STALL an engine if there's not enough heat built up from vehicle operations &/OR can DAMAGE the INSIDE of automatic transmissions from HIGHER than NORMAL internal pressures from fluid that is COLDER thus THICKER than its' working viscosity. ADDING ANY transmission auxiliary oil cooler needs to be in SERIES with the existing radiator-mounted oil cooler. The in-tank cooler allows faster operating temperature stability while the ADD-ON cooler helps limit/reduce total operating temperatures by cutting heat saturation of the fluid itself PLUS the additional fluid filling the add-on transmission cooler & oil lines allows more time for heat removal by INCREASING the OVERALL VOLUME of fluid to be cooled...Read full review

THIS COOLER FITS VERY EASY IN A TIGHT SPACE, IT'S VERY COMPACT. WORKED PERFECT FOR MY S-10 BLAZER. I DID NEED ANOTHER PIECE OF HOSE TO COMPLETE THE INSTALL, BUT NO PROBLEM.

I used this as a power steering oil cooler on my 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Tacoma trucks do not come with a factory cooler so I added this since I do Offroad trails every once in a while.
