Liner is decent quality except the slits for the chin strap to go through don't line up , you will have to enlarge or cut new ones , wash it and stretch over helmet while still wet and it dries to a good fit

I have a 1987 PASGT helmet. The original 1987 helmet cover indicates medium/large fits perfect. And that is why I ordered this cover from TruSpec. It had the same size indication. Medium/large. However, this cover is HUGE. I'm using ties to tie it into the helmet. The quality is great, it's just too big. Don't order this size if you have a medium Helmet. You may want to go for small from TruSpec. I don't know.

Application was an '87 PASGT large helmet with the original strap suspension. Overall fit of this cover wasn't bad but the placement of the slots for the chin straps weren't great and one was undersized enough that I had to unscrew the retaining Chicago screw to slip the strap through since it wouldn't go through with the sewn-on buckle. Even still, it emerges from cover at an off angle and doesn't fall straight. If you have to have a multi-cam cover this will do the job, but if I had to do it again I'd probably just go genuine milsurp woodland.

This helmet cover is fairly nice quality for the money. It is to big for my medium helmet. I washed/dried hoping it would shrink but it did not. Also there isn’t enough Velcro’s tiedows, especially need one in the front where the extra material is flapping around. Large helmet might be better fitting but still doesn’t have a place to secure in front and rear. Also like others have said need to cut the hole bigger to fit the chin strap. Recommend to keep looking unless gotta have this one.

Works great for the conversion PASGT to a modern 4 point chin strap. For mine I just sewed some strong Velcro strips onto it and stuck the other side with a little super glue to the adjacent helmet location. I would imagine it would fit just as nice with the normal chin strap also. I spent ten years in the Army and will say even after a wash and dry it was still a bit loose. The original G.I. cover was a lot tighter for my large Kevlar but it works fine.
