These work great on my big 32" wide 11 hp snowblower. They keep from Marring-up/scratching pavers, concrete, or even blacktop. The rollers also make turning very easy, they even make my snowblower that has one-touch steering even easier. They're made of very high quality, thick and strong steel that look like they will last a long time and are painted with a good coat of paint to prevent rusting.

They work really well for moving the machine on dry ground but sometimes in the snow the wheel will stick and start to wear a flat spot. They need to make replacement wheels, preferably in a harder material, maybe steel.

PLASTIC - I don't think lowering my rating is fair just because they are plastic, as that is how they are designed to be, but from looking at the listing and pics, I was under the impression they were metal. I don't have overly high hopes for putting these on a heavy duty 150lb+ 48" blower attachment on a garden tractor that I ordered them for, but maybe they will survive... - They do look like they'd be great on walk-behind machines, and are heavy duty plastic, but between the weight and lateral slide when turning of tractor-mount blowers, metal might still be the only way to go, as good of an idea as a wheeled skid seems to be so it doesn't chew up concrete as much.

I first bought these rolling skid shoes last year as a test on two machines. Well, they passed with flying colors!! The plastic rollers make moving the snow blower very easy in the shop or rolling on or off the trailer. What a surprise I had this spring when there were NO scratches or gouges on my driveway or pavers and no customers complaining of scratched walkways. I have since purchased and installed several sets for my own machines and several of our shop customers and everyone loves them!!!!

I had read some reviews of icing up and not rolling, so I used lithium grease to try to block out moisture. I've only used the snow blower once since installation, but these seem to work fine If lithium grease doesn't keep moisture out I'll try something else. As long as I don't have to keep replacing the old metal skid shoes that grind down to nothing on my paved driveway I'm happy.
