Wasn't sure what I'd receive as the photo seems to show it as plated in Zinc Dichromate; a yellow/gold plating often seen with a pink and green rainbow effect visible on surface but mine came finished in plain Zinc Chromate with a slight blue tint. Definitely not "show chrome" but it takes well to metal polish for some added pizzazz. Purchased for go kart and mini bike use so the illusion of faux chrome goes a long way for a finishing touch. Instead of a press-fit, the muffler body is welded to the threaded portion. Should last a long long time.
