First off, this is not a subwoofer for large or even medium home theater settings. More suitable for music listening or moderate volume movies. That said, this little devil will rock your room with excellent definition and clarity. Placing you sub is no easy task. Sure enough, it's not going to stay in the first corner you placed it when taken out of the box. You need to move it around your room to find that sweet spot where it will sure bang your walls. Once the spot has been found, then tweak the sound with provided controls (phase, low cut and volume), to adjust those low notes just as you like them for your specific setting. I spend 3 days going around the room until I found it's home, where I'm sure it will stay a long time. Enjoy.

This 8 inch down throw subwoofer is just what I needed for my little Man Cave when I'm watching DVDs. It's amazing how it blends with the front speakers. Wow! My old sub broke some time ago. Probably because it was really a cheap piece of equipment. This sub really ROCKS! Thanks, Acoustic Audio

Pretty much does what I expected of it. Bought this just to extend the low end of my system. I use it primarily for music and was not looking for wall shaking floor rumbling bass and it does a creditable job of doing what i got it for. Music has fuller sound and low end is definitely improved. Certain types of music like old 1970's Disco really pop with this. All in all I am satified considering the amazingly low price. I never owned any other sub so I really can't make any comparisons but I would expect more expensive ones to be better.
Luv the look nice amall design. 2 problems i got from my sub . It works fine on the on switch. But on the stand by mode it cuts on and off. The thing is its beautifly design but the thump of the base is a little week the speaker can use a little more strength on the out put but other then that . it working but i have 2 manuelly cut it off when i cut off tha amp..

connected this 300w sub then attached rca cables from sub to amp but heard NOthing. So i connected the amp to the subs speaker a and b slots and my speakers to the sub. it works but my amp is only 40 watts and from the sound i heard that sub does not sound like 150RMS or 300 peak. So im wondering if this box has a built in amp to give it that power or maybe my amp rca to sub is dead. Answers please i woulda gave this a 5 because i like the subwoofer sound quility but i only hear 40W power not 150-300w
