I bought this as an Open Box item. The only downside on my item was that it didn't come with a display port cable which is the only way that the G-sync feature can be used. I was under the impression that the speakers would not work over the display port cable, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it did! The audio from the monitor speakers is not great, a very tinny sound. But I didn't expect great audio from this monitor and that isn't why I bought it. I use by dedicated speakers for audio. The image quality is great. No stuck or dead pixels. Engaged G-sync easily through the manager app. Destiny 2 running super smooth without tearing or ghosting. There was one screen flicker, but it never occurred again. I have had to make no adjustments so far. The only trouble I had was that the image would not show up immediately when I connected the display port cable because the monitor doesn't auto-detect input. I had to select this on the monitor menu. Color quality is excellent and viewing angles are great. It is a TN monitor so colors and viewing angles are not a spectacular as other monitors, but I am not super critical of the color loss in extreme viewing angles because I am not using the monitor from those angles. I have no complaints so far. Hope for it to last for years to come.Read full review

I did my research before I purchased, I was aware of the color complaints regarding this monitors TN panel. Upon taking the acer out of the box & plugging it in for the first time I was not surprised to find the colors a bit dim but after tweaking the setting first on the computer through nvidia settings & then through the monitors settings itself. It practically looks the same as the ips panel monitor I have mounted next to it vibrancy-wise So games look great. It even picks up white better making typing very crisp, clean looking & easy on the eyes. Though like most say the black leaves something to be desired. Overall this is a great monitor & I’d recommend it if you can get it for a little cheaper than retail considering you can buy qhd 144hz gsync monitors for around the same price.

Pros- G-sync is great (I have a wide range of FPS dips and this makes the tearing almost nonexistent) The adjust ability of raising and lower the screen Price on sale is well worth it (if there's no issues) Menu navigation Cons- Bright sub-pixel that's dead in the middle of the screen (right out of the box). In short, it's a great monitor. The G-sync/144hz is a huge improvement over the 60hz Acer monitor they replaced (horrible tearing). The picture quality is about the same. The huge downside is the bright sub-pixel that was dead out of the box. My other two 8 year old Acer monitors are still fine with no dead pixels.

One of few monitors with great specs. Looks amazing with 144hz at 1080p. The 1ms response is great for any gamer and is helpful. Good looking monitor. Great overall especially for being a G-Sync monitor.
