First off, this book is not your typical tabloid-style, tell all story book about famous musicians. It is however somewhat auto-biographical filled with first person observations, opinions, anecdotes and relationships with those musicians from a very important man who was pivotal in producing some of the most iconic songs and albums ever. It is also unique because there are vivid descriptions and period images of the recording process and equipment and the way they were used to create the music we all heard. Although it appears at times to be written with a bunch of random and disorganized thoughts and memories pieced together, I found that if you read it with a broad time-based perspective there is significant continuity as Ken recollections are revealed for us to follow-
