Win7-64 system It did not find the driver on install but when I went into DEVICE DRIVERS it did. I had no idea what software I should use to make this work. I spent hours searching and finally found that it came installed on some name brand PCs and used WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER (not Windows Media Player.) After setup with WMC I found it to work fine except for failing to consistently receive weak channels compared to my 4 other sources and the radio tuner was useless, zero reception. Even the static wouldn't always come in clearly. It does record and I only did it accidentally so it was limited testing, I don't need it for that. I works fine for my needs, especially for the under $9 I paid for it, glad I got it, and would recommend it to anyone that understands what it is and isn't. Only the radio was completely worthless, the rest is okay. Read full review

Using the same antenna and connections as my television, this tuner card doesn't pick up as many channels. The video quality isn't super great either on channels that come in properly--definitely HD, but there's a bit of pixelation that isn't seen on a television. I enabled Spread Spectrum Clocking in my PC to reduce any potential interference, but this didn't help. Not disappointed having paid less than $10 for it though, helped me prove a concept at least.

For most users out there, this would have to be a 5*... for me though, I dont have an internet connection to my desktop, which this was used. Hunting for the driver is a real chore with all of the "DOWNLOAD HERE" flashing icons 4 driver scanners/scammers out on the web. Seller did actually respond to my inquiry on where the driver could be located though. Best bet is to get the microsoft one in a CAB file and extract it then update via device manager.

Installation of card was easy; finding appropriate drivers was another thing. I would like to be able to use this card so I can view TV shows from my computer. Any suggestions for obtaining drivers would be appreciated.

I use windows 7 so there were windows drivers for the card (works fine , no need to download from anyone else). Used winamp and got the winampTV plugin. I use a comcast box with channel 3 for the input setting. Did a channel scan in the winamp plugin setup - you only need to do channels 0-10 and then pick the channel you use (usually 3). Save the channel in "presets" and you can watch TV on a monitor. Has a setting for widescreen or letter box. Works perfect with video programs like Nero or Adobe for recording streaming/live TV programs or from a DVD/VCR/DVD etc.
