Very, very quiet.
I have been looking for a fan to cool my AV equipment for some time, A few years ago these fans were several hundred dollars, so imagine my surprise when I found these for a very reasonable price. I received the item in under 3 days from my initial purchase and the build quality was great. I quickly installed them on top of my Receiver and turned them on. Nothing. Quiet. I had to place my hand over them to check if they were working, They were. A silent breeze. I was breathing louder than these babies. Works Fantastic and Very Quiet
I use this on a Pioneer top venting receiver that would get extremely hot to the touch. I was worried about it overheating. I must admit I was skeptical about how well this would work, but it is amazing. Even on med speed, this keeps the receiver nice and cool now. Having the usb connect to the receiver also means the fan powers on/off with the receiver...so it's convenient and quiet. Lowered my Router's CPU Temp. significantly
My router is a Linksys WRT1900ACSV2... This fan dropped it's CPU operating temperature from 83.2C (181.76F) to 60.3C (140.54F). Worth the money.
This fan is very quite and cools my entire Beelink mini computer which is about the same size as the fan. I push my mini computer to the max with one monitor and one XP-Pen drawing tablet. The cooling affects have been great.
