I was able to get excellent crimps if I took my time and gradually moved the crimped connector from larger slots to smaller slots on the tool.

These appear to be well made and heavy duty, but the tolerance between the jaws is too wide. Every time I try to crimp a connector, one of the tabs would fold over on the back side and jam up between the jaws. This leads to one of the tabs breaking off and only crimping one side. I've had better results from an $8 crimper that I got from Fry's electronics.

It took a few practice crimps to get used to how they work, but these crimpers did a fine job. Installed about 20 Molex connectors in the bucket of my motorcycle headlight while wiring in driving lights and handlebar controls, no problem.

Brand you crimper fails after only 4 crimps!! Waste of my $$$. One of the pins have fallen out and will no longer allow the crimper to fully close/clamp down. I'm spending way more for a gm crimper then getting another one of these.

This is a great tool if you want something cheap yet effective. It can be fiddly the first couple times and it does the insulation and wire in two separate stages. But other than that, its a nice pieces and well worth the price. Perfect for the home mechanic!
