Open box Flip Ultra HD video camera. Box has been opened but it appears that the camera and contents have never been used. The camera, paperwork, battery, carrying bag, and wrist strap are all included in the box. The black rubber on the camera has slight deterioration and is sticky to the touch as seen in the picture above. I do not believe this to affect the function of the camera.

This Flip Video camcorder captures video with a resolution of 720p and a frame rate of 60 frames per second which is double the standard. Without any complicated settings, the Flip Video UltraHD captures clear and concise video in all types of lighting conditions, producing stunning video regardless of the environment. In addition, a high end audio feature of this Flip Video camcorder creates video with superior sound. As an 8 GB camcorder, the Flip Video UltraHD can hold two hours of video and includes a rechargeable battery pack to provide for continuous video capture. The pre-loaded FlipShare software on the 8 GB camcorder is launched once the camcorder is connected to a computer by means of the built-in USB arm. This enables the organizing and editing of video files and sharing them on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Lightweight with great features, but had to bring dead battery back to life.
Product is easy to use, lightweight, good image quality and what I expected except that the "new" battery in the camera did not work. It was completely dead. My guess is this was because the camera was probably manufactured in 2011 at the latest, when Cisco discontinued the camera. Luckily, I found a number of possible solutions on the Internet. The last one I tried worked and I was able to "bring the battery" back to life. Once I got the the battery to re-charge, it works great.

Replacement camera
I had an older model actually the original model that I purchased years ago. I loved it. Always dependable. We lost our home and all its contents in the northern California wildland fire that included the camera. This is a replacement for that camera. The camera works fine and once again I will have it available were every we travel in this wonderful country.
