(I've had 5 or 6 in the past few years). They are impossible to break when dropped, but sooner or later the hinges give way and eventually the phone stops working. Since I don't want a real "Smart Phone," this has worked out for me, since they are cheap and easy to replace, Dan from Atlanta

The phone arrived very dirty. One of the batteries had the red dot and was in usable condition. There was a few scratches, but that was expected. No charger, had to use an old one I had. I had another that had a broken hinge and thought the one bought would replace it. But in the condition that it arrived, was afraid of germs.

i really like this phone! i've had it for a few weeks now and really haven't had any trouble with it. i bought this phone because i had a blackberry and was tired of all the blackberry problems! this phone has android 1.6 which is now fairly old, but it is still lightning fast compaired to my blackberry at loading pages. the only problem i had with the motorola devour is that every once in a while i used to bump the mute button or end call button while i was talking to someone. it drove me crazy until i realized that the little motorola m on the left hand top corner of the face of the phone is a prox sensor which turns the screen back on when you move the phone away from your ear. as long as you keep the phone touching your ear the entire time you're on it, you won't have the problem i had. anyways, great phone! i would recommend this for anyone who has never had an android or wants to try a smartphone.Read full review
I genuinely like this phone. I like the ease of operation and accessibility to social networking updates and emails. The apps are okay, but the phone is of good quality. The QWERTY keyboard is a little small for my sausage fingers (cause I'm a bigger guy) but most people probably wouldn't have a problem with it. The battery doesn't have much of a life to it when you have wifi, bluetooth and other things running at the same time. When you shut these off, it lasts longer. Use the battery saver settings and you should be okay. Good phone, well made, lives up to the Motorola name.
I researched and researched this phone before I got it and saw that there were many good reviews on it. It is less expensive than the Droid with all of the same features. I got this phone around November and was delighted when I first received it It was a lot of cool features such as Twitter and Facebook updates and streaming videos from Youtube along with many applications to choose from. Now, I'm on my second phone. The buttons are small and can be annoying to press. Like many Verizon phones, it continually shuts off at random times. You'll also notice a little delay when opening new menus or applications. And the battery is a pain to get out. it's built in to the side so you have to maneuver it a certain way to get it out. The browser is good though. It's fast when there's enough 3G to power it but sucks a lot of battery.Read full review
I really love this phone. I switched from the LG Versa. At first it was a little hard getting used to the size/weight. I used to own a sidekick 2 a longggg time ago and wow! I would compare it to the original gameboy to the ds lite. Fast, battery life is excellent. You can use the keyboard or the touch screen which is great. Large screen. FAST web pages and easy to view. I even bought a cute case for it and I am 100% satisfied, I think this is a great phone for anyone looking to upgrade!
Purchased the Motorola VU204 because I misplaced my Samsung Juke. The Juke was junk- seems cheap in the hand, doesn't stay fully open when talking, keys are super micro (dial with fingernail), and the screen is tiny. The VU204 solves all those problems. Keys are big enough to dial with gloved hand, screen is large enough (though both screens should be larger IMO) and stays open while talking. Reception is above average, speaker quality is good enough (could be a bit better- gargled at full volume), it is attractive, and pleasant to the touch with the rubberized coating. Verizon's latest operating system is better than the previous system and customizable to an extent. For those seeking a phone to make and receive phone calls with occasional texting, this attractively priced model is a good choice.Read full review
I love the physical appearance of the phone. I love the metal exterior and the keyboard. I love how I can keep up with facebook, twitter, multiple email accounts and more. I love how it retrieves contacts from facebook and email accounts. There are two things that prevent me from recommending this phone however, major things...every once and a while it will delete all your contacts. They return in about a day or so. usually they've gone one vacation every Sunday but are back by Sunday night or Monday afternoon. the other complaint is battery life/access. This phone eats your battery. I purchased a second battery so i wouldn't have to worry about it dying on me but to take out the battery is a hassle. Not that big of a deal but it is inconvenient. Because the Devour is the only phone i have found on any network that i like the look and feel of...i have decided to put up with the flaws.Read full review
This phone is considered a brother to the VU30 Motorola Rapture. Easing on the fanciness to lower the price, Motorola made this durable phone with resemblance to the Rapture for it's style. I'm happy enough with the camera, and the speakers are darn good, but the buttons which are made to last a while are raised slightly too high so they leave marks on the screen after continuous usage (by closing the phone). But overall this is a great phone especially if you need the durability this phone has to offer with it's hard textured shell.
Best flip phone I ever used. It is rugged and will give you years of service. My family has been using this model for years. Like most phones, It is not waterproof. My last one took a dive in the toilet and that is what killed it.When I got out of the shower, there it was. So do not drop it in the toilet or the pool or you may have to get a new one.
