the phone is good. It can multi-task which makes moving between programs faster. I like that it has standalone GPS. It doesn't have any good GPS apps so I can't tell if the GPS works well. WI-FI works well and is a great feature. The camera is good. I had to work with the white balance when shooting with a flash indoors to get the correct colors. Without a flash it is always accurate. It has a 3" screen which is Ok but I like the larger screens. The cons: I can't find many apps. This is a European phone and finding anything that works with it in the States seems very difficult. The LG site offers no help. I went to the European site and didn't have any better luck. The My-Apps on the phone takes you to the Orange website but since I am not with Orange it is useless. I like the phone but I don't like the lack of support and products.Read full review
This is a good cellphone with very interesting features such as: - Dolby Sound - 8mpx camera - handwritting recognition - front camera - the resistive toushcreen works very fine - wi-fi works great - DIVx video support - However, there are some things that dissapointed me: - The camera flash stopped working after one week. - The handset does not recognize the microSD very often, so you have to reset the phone everytime it happens. - the browser does not support some scripts on touch-mobile sites that work fine on other touchscreen phones (ie. facebook touch mobile) - and something that really annoys me: everytime you launch the Music player or the Image viewer, it takes a lot of time to read all the content on the microSD, depending of the microSD size (mine is 8GB and it takes about 2 or 3 minutes to load). - The multitask is lame! it only allows you to have 3 tasks running. - another thing that dissaponted me a lot: it's impossible to send an attached photo via email from the handset! I tried many ways and nothig worked out, I also searched for the problem on Internet and a lot of people that have this phone got the same problem. I hope my review is helpful.Read full review
I love (almost) everything about this phone! I love the design and the widgets and the apps it has and I love using the touch screen for all of it. THe ONLY thing I don't love is the size of the touchscreen keyboard. It's terrible. I'm constantly hitting letters other than the ones I want soooo...that is rather annoying. Because of that feature I wish I'd paid less for the phone but I do love everything else about it though I think I might have to join the masses and get an Iphone for my next upgrade since the keyboard is so much larger. Love this phone other than that.
I purchased this phone about two weeks ago and like anything new, I had a little difficulty understanding and using all the menu. This is a very impressive phone with all the things you need for today's lifestyle. The camera takes excellent pictures, the size of this phone is perfect and the battery life is very long, talk time is more than 4 hours, and now that I am getting used to it, all the navigation buttons are easy to follow. One thing I will admit though, it is not as smart as the Blackberry I owned previously, but overall it is right behind it because I owned lots of other phones before. I do believe that there are more features than the Blackberry. I will recommend this phone to anyone who wants to keep up with today's lifestyle and technology and stay abreast with today's all that's happening. The radio is also impressive, loud and clear. So overall, I will give this phone a A++. I am very happy with my purchase.Read full review
I love the LG Renoir KC910 not just because it's an attractive compact phone with Excellent performance and design, but because the Renoir is a follow on to the LG Viewty, matching the usability but updating software and hardware. The Renoir is solidly built, attractive to eye, and has battery to match and support features with normal use. I love and play with the phone soo much that the battery dies real fast. The LG Renoir has a wide collection of features and functions with its compact exterior An 8 mega pixel camera, with smile to blink detection,High quality bright colours on a 3 inch touch screen display, GPS mapping systems, Wi-Fi and 3G, 3 'key button' options on the base of the handset are a bit of an eye soar, but this is forgiven due to smooth lines and metallic finish of Renoir. Two of the reasons I bought this phone is (1), you can shoot videos, and edit them right on the phone,(2) it has two cameras on it, one for taking pictures, and another one for live video conferencing. This is amazing, and not yet offered in the US. Overall, I must say that I love this phone, my girlfriend is mad at me because I pay more attention to the phone than her! The Juuice©Read full review
