Flat plot combined with one dimensional character development leaves talent largely untapped.
I was hoping this would be done in the same light as "The Big Short" or "Promise Land" or "The Big Lebowski" even.....it fell way short. I enjoy Kevin Spacey....but this movie just never found a good rhythm. The characters remained flat even though the subject matter is ripe with opportunity to go deeper, albeit in dark places, into the greed and power can pull people. In the end I was like "eh, it was okay." Its now in a box going to Goodwill. Just not a good movie.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
