This book was very interesting as I am a child of World War II and my husband who is the same age remembers going down to the back of the railroad in Jersey City and seeing prisoners-of-war. Germans and the Italians after reading this book I realize that that was the point where they held them waiting for the train to take them to pows camps very interesting information in this book I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in that era.

An extremely well written book about a period of American history most Americans don't know about. All students of WWII need to read this book. You will gain a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the intrinsic nature of war. The interplay between the governments of America and Germany was an important factor during the war and is discussed in this book in a way that makes it understandable to the average reader. A book well worth adding to your library.
