Simply a very good basic lens
I may be new to photography but I'm experienced at taking photos and this lens was an excellent buy on ebay. The lens on my Rebel T2i stopped working on auto focus, I wanted a quick replacement and came upon the EF III. It's nothing new to me because it's the same lens that's on my Rebel XT. Less than expected
Upon receiving this lens I mounted it to my T6 and put it through testing. I noticed that at the 50mm focal point that the lens was very loose and sloppy . It didn’t seem to affect the focus much but it was something that had to be paid attention to. Looks great, great condition, AF works fine, sharp pics 1. This isn't a pic of my Christmas lights... 2. This is a pic of the grass they are on! 3. This isn't a pic of the chair in front of my desk... 4. This is a pic of the leather grain on it! With only slight editing si it's a great little lens and I'm about to get some more 4 stuff with the money I saved. Good little purchase!
