I have used older models of D-Link routers but this one is much faster and easy to use. It has 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands of operation. If you have interference on one band then you can switch to the and keep going on. I highly recommend this router for a cheap and reliable router. Chet

Bad Router!! 5Ghz will broadcast, BUT no data will be broadcasted thru it! I believe it is a fatal flaw in this model. Even the firmware update would not fix the issue.
