  • P-12 and my voice go well together

I've used a few mics, all very extensively for years at a time-- 414xlii, ksm27/44, rode k2... This mic and my voice were meant to be. It's got this body and warmth that has been hard to capture. This won a shootout between pearlman tm1, u87, and mojave Ma-300. Mics are entirely subjective to the sound source, but for my purposes, this p-12 is perfect (I'm a alto/mezzo range singer with some grit, singing mostly pop/R&B and jazz). Not exactly a c-12 but has its important characteristics and a much more affordable price tag;)
