The New Motherboard - New Life to a Classic
The new motherboard for my Dell Inspiron 1526 works great. The laptop had always been a good one and I didn't want to give it up when the motherboard quit. So I replaced the motherboard with a new one and brought it back to life. One of the good things about it was I did not have to lose my applications and personal data that I had compiled over the years. Plus.. this was MUCH cheaper than buying a new laptop!

Terrible Disappointment
This board emitted a power light only on startup. Diagnostic startup suggested the motherboard was bad. Swapped out CPU, memory all removable parts. Nothing !Testing before shipping should go further than a power light coming on.
