I'm reviewing a brand new K800 keyboard with Spanish keys (with the "ñ"). The one I got was not a refurbished one. This backlit keyboard is exactly what I needed. Two minor reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars: - Typing feeling is not as expected. Not bad, but not the same you can find in other modern, good quality keyboards. Quite different from my Thinkpad's one. Nevertheless, good quality. - That transparent (acrylic?) border... totally unnecessary. Rounded, softer edges would feel more comfortable. In any case, a good product overall.

Well designed and functional with press light keys. Battery life is adequate, battery could be upgrade to 3000 ma or higher on Ni-Ox or maybe lithium type batteries. I have one problem the "b" key is to sensitive --just barely touch it and it will be display on you document. Wireless connection is well exactitude and simple to install. Overall the price is right and it is very functional key board with back light. I would give it a excellent rating with the exception of that on key that is to sensitive, to easy to punch the "b" key and adding the letter "B" to your documents. Richard

Big and quiet really helps for the amount of typing I do and for the size of my hands which fit comfortably on this keyboard. Logitech puts out good products and the unified remote is really efficient paring up various peripherals they make while consuming only one USB port. Highly recommended but I wish the battery would last longer. They are rechargeable but you need to remember to plug it in when the batteries are running low. Only a minor annoyance otherwise fantastic.

Well, I cleaned my old K800 keyboard and it died. Some buttons dont work, some give me extra letters or other ones I did not type. I have cleaned that keyboard many times before and no problems. It died after ~6 years of use. This is why I had to buy another one....

I have a Logitech K360 keyboard. The back legs broke off, so I had to type on a flat keyboard. The keys are well spaced and easy to press; but over time it became annoying and troublesome to type. So, I decided to get an upgraded and new keyboard. After days of researching, I decided on the the Logitech K800. It came with all the bells and whistles. Love the back lite. extra function keys, soft keys, built in battery with charger chord included, and design. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. It's a bit pricey; but worth it. Logitech, your rock.

The keyboard is sleek, lightweight and populated with a full numpad and FN hotkeys. It's also easy to setup and pairing it to a unifying receiver is effortless. My biggest gripe with this keyboard is the backlighting. Even with the SetPoint software, there is no way to keep the lighting on permanently. I understand this is a battery saving feature, but I don't like being denied an option for practicality. If I want to expend the battery every 5 or so hours because I want the keys to light up, that should be my choice. Limitations do not sit well with me.

Been playing with my new Logitech K-800 wireless keyboard. Other than the obvious advantages of going untethered, the keys are joy to type on. I have medium size hands and I do type. This keyboard layout is designed perfectly for someone like me. I imagine someone with small hands would not find it a big stretch and there's plenty of space here to accommodate large hands. The keys require the perfect amount of pressure. After an hour my hands are still not tired. That's the good news. The down with this particular model is the "Spanish" language keys. My machine's default language is English. Although the keys are laid out for typing in Spanish, the keys actually type English. That is to say, that the keys you would normally press on an English keyboard are the same ones you hit here, except the key label will be wrong because it's designed for typing in Spanish. That takes some getting used to. You type normally, just like you would on a standard English layout, and ignore the fact that the keys say something different. Beyond that, at this price, this is a bargain too good to pass up.Read full review

I love this keyboard, except for one thing. There is no way to know if the caps lock is on or off. There is no caps lock light to show when the caps lock is on. I am sort of shocked Logitech would not put a caps lock light on such a good keyboard, I expected it to have one when I bought it. If it had one I would have rated it 5 stars.

1- TAB key doesn't work a lot of times while gaming. I have to press it kind of hard. 2- The right half of the spacebar make a loud clack noise. I don't know how to fix it and it drives me crazy. 3- Can't replace batteries. It has a white plastic encasing over them. 4- Can't turn off the lights during the day. "Logitech Options" software set to "disabled" doesn't work. FN+F5 works for a short while, but the lights always turn right back on. This is the 3rd K800 keyboard I've owned in 5 years or so, and it's the only one to give me problems. It's definitely not worth the $50+.

This is a well made keyboard, however the batteries that came with it did work..This is a a rechargeable keyboard..the batteries were obviously old and would not charge..After replacing the batteries with Duracell rechargeable batteries it worked great. You can even upgrade your software online..very nice.
