I upgraded a slow system with bad graphics to give it some pizzaz. Pros: Low temperatures, quick, and responsive. Cons: Fan is a little noisy, and not as fast as a 8800GTX would be Other Thoughts: Although it isn't as fast as previous generations of graphics cards, one thing to consider is the process they use to make it. This card uses a 40nm process. I used to have an 8800GTX and that bugger got extremely hot. So it's your choice. A little bit better performance at the cost of higher temperatures and increased electricity usage?
Used it in a Dell OptiPlex 745, which has a 305 watt power supply. Worked without any issues.
