I easily Installed this CPU in a 2009 Dell Inspiron 546, replacing a single core Sempron CPU. I was amazed at the speed difference. Web pages load instantly, videos play with no pauses. I did a little script mining for Monero, went from an embarrassing 2-3 hps, to a respectable 30 hps. With 3 out of 4 cores maxed at 100%, temp = 65 C. Very happy with the upgrade, well worth the money. I'm going to dig out a couple more old PC's, and see if it's possible to bring them back to life.

I wanted this cpu to be installed on a MOBO pegatron M2N78-LA violet 3, since HP does not offer to much information about the little details of a 100% compatible CPU I just went with the general specifications of this cpu and order it and found out that it was not compatible.

this was,is a nice upgrade from amd 2.8 dual core, works great,love this for the price, Will say can't beat this upgrade ver. the money. the highest I could go is to a 3.2 6 core but for the value this AMD Processor was double the cores, plus went from 2.8 to 3.0 dual core to quad core I checked asus motherboard website, to see what is compatable cpu's and what memory is compatable

This is a self built system with an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. Found if I upgraded the BIOS to ver 1804, it would run an AMD Phenom II quad core CPU. Former CPU was an Athelon 5000 dual core. Works great. Increased speed, especially with rendering videos.

Installed in my older AMD rig and it is working great. I was able to overclock this processor to 3.45GHz but since it's locked you won't be able to change the multiplier. I was able to set my bus speed to 230 anything pass that would cause bsod. Sits about 32C with Hyper 212 cooler under load.
