Just buy it. Its better than nothing.
I bought two. Each was about $20. One camera for left side, one for right. The twister cameras are pointed out each window. They work fine, no freeze ups. Video quality on the highest setting is POOR, you will never see a license plate ever. True max is 360p. Don't waste your time playing back videos on the camera, the screen is too tiny. I have to keep an Android tablet in car to playback video. Night recording is poor unless area is well lit(pressing night vision button does not help). eh used equipment not thoughtly tested before resold.
The unit was obviously used, as the memory card still had some video files on it. When i fully charged it, and took it out to car, the screen would flicker and then split in the middle horizontally. With the bottom video on top and top on bottom. And would stay that way until i pulled power and did hard reset. To get it fixed i had to spend 50 dollars at electronics store to have them fix the vieo processor . Now it works correctly. VikVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

When I first tried using it I thought it was broken bc it would stop recording after 10 seconds or so. After a Google search I found out that if the motion detector feature is on while driving it will stop recording. I turned it off and it works great now. It works ok, nothing great about it.
Don't pay $59 for this at Wmart, got it for $20, it works like it should, no problem there, build quality is ok. Video quality is not really any better than the cheap cams, but it gets the job done. Good value, sufficient features and quality
Dual camera lets you watch the front, as expected, as well as the driver window or backseat. Camera is of sufficient quality and is pretty reliable. The mount is pretty good and detaches the camera for fiddling with the menu if you need to. There is one weak spot where the mount meets the camera- yeah, i broke it. But, it's so cheap, that i just bought a second package and both together are cheaper than most similar products. You get plenty of wire to run to your power source and it is thin enough to hide easily. Doesn't use much power if you want to leave it on 24/7.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Waste Of Time & Money
The audio is so low that I had to turn up the volume on my speakers to 100% to hear anything. The device is set to record in 5 minute blocks, it cuts off at all different time. Plagued by the cheap charger port
