If you haven’t played this game, it’s still not backwards compatible and can only be played on original Xbox unless you find an emulator work around on the PC. It was one of those turn based games that flew under the radar. At its core you feel like a gladiator. There’s timing and precision button pressing which is engaging during battles, yet doesn’t require you to play like it’s call of duty quick shooter with skills of a 15 year old. Worth every penny. I rented it from Blockbuster years ago and then bought it from them. The disc deteriorated, but eBay makes finding original copies easy again.

Gladius is a great, albeit not well known, Xbox game. It has a wonderful story, and reminds me of The Baldur's Gate II Saga as it has RPG elements incorporated into its wonderful turn based game play. One of the main reasons I enjoy this game is the surprising depth of play...think an animated 3d mix of Eastern/Western chess and Eastern/Western philosophy with a dash of mythology and accurately portrayed/equipped character classes. The only negative I can honestly write about is that I don't have enough free time to play this game. Lastly, pick up a copy of the Gladius game guide when you purchase this item. It is well written and very informative. Its artwork alone will compliment an already fantastic game.
It's definitely a product of it's time, but if you can get past it's 6th Gen clunkyness, it's a brilliant and compelling game.

I'm sorry for not rating it sooner I thought I had. Everything is fine. No complaints, none. Very professional. The item perfect. Thanks for being a honest place to do business at.

What I liked about this game was how you can be a gladiator and have armor, weapons, and control an army and an empire. What I disliked about the game was that the armor and weapons were kind of not advanced like now a days games but back then it was different and not advanced enough but I still like playing all the old systems and the old games that Xbox and plus Playstation did back durring the 1980s through now playing these old games brings back memories but I still like Playing these old systems and games and also the newer systems and games that came in through the years.
