This fine works great. It does all I need from a desktop phone. The only thing that I would add is lighted numbers, don't need but it would be nice.

I like this phone. It looks 'solid' and has a large numbers. The display has large characters, but I expected it to be lighted. My phone is wall-mounted and barely readable in the ambient light. (An LED backlight would have cost pennies.) I replaced the handset cord. The included cord is too short for wall-mount application. The operating interface is difficult. I have not yet figured out how to manage the number directory. The human interface sinks, especially for old folks who grew up with on/off/volume control no dial and only the hook switch button. What ever happened to "number please", the wonderful operator.
It's perfect for what I need - a simple phone with speakerphone feature. (It has many other features, but I don't need or use them.)
