We're two for two! I ordered the first one so I could do a factory recovery of my aging Windows 7 computer onto a NEW hard drive since it made little sense to do it onto its 8 year old hard drive. Just did the same operation with my relatively new Windows 10 computer "just in case". Again it went without the slightest problem - and now I have brand new hard drives for both computers on standby, fully loaded and ready to swap out which will take all of 30 seconds - and I'm back up and running. These hard drives are extremely quiet as well. Of course I had the factory recovery media for both computers which made this an easy operation; I don't know nearly enough about computer repair to do any system troubleshooting - so this was the perfect solution. Unplug the existing hard drive, plug in the new one, start the recovery process and you pretty much have a brand new computer again as long as you keep the motherboard cool. Who knows, my Windows 7 computer just might last until 7 becomes obsolete - or has it already?
