Love it But.....
It does what it is advertised but I am in a area that all I can get is cellular 4g service. This model is discontinued and the feature I need it to do most is join a wireless network. Which this particular model will not do. I read that I could purchase a wireless bridge. Then plug the ethernet in. I personally am pretty tech saavy and if I was going to go that route I would have found a more cost effective way of doing it by purchasing a different device. But I have to say even this old discontinued item is full of features that are valid today and innovative and ahead of their time when it was new. Wow, love it
Man i thought i would never be able to get wifi again because my internet was a usb760 modem and its unlimited so i wasn't wanting to give that up to pay for wifi. Well the cradlepoint fix that problem for me. I was able to pop this baby into it and go to the cradlepoint website and update the fireware and it worked like a charm. So now i am able to stop wasting all my phone data and run it off my wifi with this cradlepoint. I am so happy i took a chance on this because i have read where a lot of folks was saying they couldn't get their phones to pick up, well mine does and my wireless printer. a great lightweight router with powerful features
I have a USB modem and I bought this to get wifi in my car because I have a teen who needs to connect his iPad on the go and this works perfectly for this purpose, I got it for $30 from harrisgear and the only thing I had to do was update the firmware and I was ready to go, even though it's been discontinued by the manufacturer but when you get the latest firmware version 2.0.0 it will work with most USB modems.
