Not sure why they can't just cut out the holes for the 3rd row. A few minutes with a razor blade to cut out the holes and trim a little of the flaps under the seats and you are good to go...annoying but not as annoying as having your kids trash the carpet. Does suck to spend that much on a floor mat to have to alter them, but it was the best option I could find. If you want them to be perfect and "out of the box" ready--don't order it! Not sure why weather tech hasn't been able to improve the small changes needed since the configuration hasn't changed since 2008.
