When Syd Barrett departed Pink Floyd for a solo career after (minimally) contributing to A SAUCER FULL OF SECRETS in 1969, expectations naturally ran high. Aside from being Floyd's primary songwriter, singer, and guitarist, Barrett had already developed the reputation for being a twisted child prodigy.
Produced by David Gilmour, Malcolm Jones & Roger Waters
Wasn't really a fan of Pink Floyd when Syd Barrett was in the group, but this CD is pretty damn good. I love "Terrapin" & "Octopus" the most. I recommend it just for the Pink Floyd fans out there who liked Syd Barrett in the group, like I said I love Pink Floyd,, just wasn't a fan of the stuff Syd was doing, loved Pink Floyd more when David Gilmour took his place.
