Dissidia 012 duodecim final fantasy is a game that meshes together the first 13 Final Fantasy games into a vs game with a unique story and a continuation or prequel to the first Dissidia final fantasy game. Pros: -Nostalgia value -New mechanics such as assist characters to help you in a battle or match. -Story is Good -English Dub voices are amazing such as Kain Highwind's! Good Job Liam O'Brien! -If you played the previous Dissidia final fantasy game you can transfer all of your data from that to this game. Same goes to the Dissidia 012 Duodecim Prologus demo too. Graphics are good for when it came out in 2011 Soundtrack/OST's are Amazing! Cons: -Don't pick you mastered Dissidia in the beginning because Feral Chaos will make you poop your pants really hard and give the overconfidence is your weakness speech from Star Wars Return of the Jedi from a Moogle. -Controls can be a little iffy depending on your psp and the settings you choose. -Feral Chaos is way too overpowered and hard to beat. That's my review for this game and I would give it a 8-9/10Read full review

The game came in with a good quality. No damage was done to the game or the case. It plays runs well, and is very fun with interesting and unique mechanics for a fighting game. I’m having a lot of fun with this one!

I got the game, didn’t work until I took off the screen cover on the disc. Disappointing but wasn’t bad. Gameplay is very good, the game is great. I don’t regret buying it though!

As a HUGE fan of Ergheiz for the Playstation, I was very underwhelmed by the gameplay of Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. The bravery attacks that you need to charge up just to use physical attacks really make the battles take forever, especially with all the flying in mid-air that the characters do chasing each other, only to usually have the physical attack miss the target entirely. The battlefields are huge, which may be a plus to some, but with the need to constantly chase your opponent half way across the field to even do anything, this further burdens the combat system. Furthermore, the story is really lacking in that it does not really explain how most of the characters got to the mysterious dimension, you are dependent on Lightning for most of the story as the lead character (As opposed to a character of your choice, a real letdown for me), and there really is no clearly defined motive about the antagonist(s) on how or why they must control & wreak havoc in this game. While there are plenty of nostalgic characters and great music from the Final Fantasy series, I would suggest avoiding this game entirely and just buying Ehrgeiz for the original Playstation or one of the Kingdom Hearts games over this.Read full review
One more for the collection. As I understand it this game is almost unplayable bc the A.I. just hits you once then runs until time runs out. But as a collector I'm still very happy to have it. Bad games need love too. 🤓✌

An amazing game. It has some slight differences than the first Dissidia but I like it, maybe you will too. Alot of the game has the same menus such as equipment, a shop, moogle letters, battlegen, and so on and so forth. The type of battling is similar too. Manikins everywhere. You can even walk around in this game to the realms you fight manikins and others in. As you walk around you can find treasure chests and "chains" (if you get the game you'll see what i mean by "chains"). The game play with the new characters is awesome, Vaan, Yuna, Lightning, and Laguna i've fought with so far and theyr'e fighting skills will blow you away. I've been hooked on this game. You would too. Its addicting. You just wanna know what happens as you continue to play. Its got it's own suspense to it. Graphics are great too, amazing. If you want a great game for your collection (especially "Final Fantasy fans) then get this game.Read full review
I generally like this game. I am cerntanally glad that I did not pay the 40 dollars to buy this new. This game is ok but the game play is way different from the other final fantasys there are out there. The in game play and fighting gives almost no control in the players movements. The storyline is a bit interesting. I will keep this game but I am not overly excited about it. Basically not what I was expecting but a game I will keep and hope that gets better as I play it and get a better understanding of the controls. This looks like it could have been desgined better at least in the battle part of the game but it was not it must have been someones idea to keep changing the way the game is played that some designer things is a good idea but not so when it comes to the player. If I had to reccomond this game I woldnt unles you are allready a final fantasy fan. To play this game one really needs to have played some of the other final fantasys to have an somewhat basic understanding of what is going on. Overall I am ok with the game just a little mift but this dose not sour me on the final fantasys at all.Read full review
This game really is the true Final Fantasy fighter. This is a great addition to any PSP owners library of titles. Graphics are top notch for the tiny handheld and really show that the PSP alone is to be considered a worthwhile and credible platfrom. Although some parts of the game may be a bit tedious and hard to get a hold of, the more you play it the more you will get into it. It definitely made up for all the short comings of the first Dissidia title and then some.
It is almost like the original but better, In this one roaming around the map, assist player, six new characters, a good plot for a prologue but it needed more to this story but its still good. Also has a nice team play battle. And for the ones that didnt buy the first game this game also contain the main scernios but doesn't have the bonus features. And has all the original characters and can transfer all your progress that you had in the fitst to the second. But you could only choose two versions of the progress. I will let you see that yourself. But one heck of a good game to bring all the final fantasy characters in one place.
awkword story line, battles are light and fast, but feel very limited in some characters designs while others feel more complete. The revamped battled system from previous games has its ups and downs (personally the faster chase battle is rediculous to me). Hardly good for fandom storywise and gamplay element wise, but still a fun play, with decent replayability, worth the money but definantly not for everyone. I believe they may have spent too much time trying to make their stale faced pretty graphics and not enough time on character design.
