I loved the first assassin's creed although, to me, the plot never went anywhere and only became more obscure at the end. To make sense of it all I got assassin's creed 2 and the ending only left me with more questions and less of a clue as to what direction the plot is actually going, however I found the game surpassed the original on all levels. Brotherhood is no exception, it has taken all the great game elements that I've come to love and managed to improve them. Character control is better than ever. Graphics are simply wonderful, the realism and grand scale of brotherhood really puts me into the game. Content is massive with so much to do & accomplish that the consumer will get their moneys worth, you will not breeze through this one. You get to play in the animus, pretty much non-stop, with the option of leaving it instead of being forced to do so. I'm glad to have shelled out the extra cash for the collector's edition, it looks great on the shelf and surely will retain its value over time. I did expect the jack in the box to be manufactured better, I'm not saying its trashy but I expected a higher quality from the photos. That about sums it sums it up... I'm going to finish playing it in the hopes that somehow sense can be made of the story. I have a terrible feeling that it is going to be a scienfield episode where there will be no point. Or like lost, where there was never a point to begin with, followed by sequels trying to legitimize a absentee plot resulting in only diluting the whole ordeal even worse. For the gaming enthusiast, and avid collector this is a must. Especially if you are a fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise, the bonuses that come with this item include all the special edition extras for the game however they provide for added flare and amusement an AC: Brotherhood themed Jack-in-Box with your choice of either the rare release Harlequin version with the two hands holding blades or the Dr. release with the overdose syringe! Both versions are well made and will crack a smile on those who enjoy the games and those who like little surprises. This series was only released in America for some reason but all PS3 owners would be aware that all games work on most consoles but only online play will be affected if you are not from the region area listed on the game, IE: USA (1) If you have this game already from your own region this doesn't affect you and you could always pawn the in packaged game off anyhow, or keep it for originality/collection. I bought this item as it was for collectors purposes and because the originality of the item provided more than what the distributors in my country only bought out this item with a limited edition box with all items but no Jack-in-Box which was a massive letdown. As stated this edition was only released in USA and was not provided to other areas to enjoy which is a shame as it gives more for your money and a softer humorous side of the AC series.Read full review
Oh My God Oh My God,when I propped the box on top of my bed so much emotions ran through me. Since opening the box and being startled and arroused by the Jack in the Box I was amazed at how much improved the game play was from the previous installment. So cudos Ubisoft, Revelations now seems dull compared to this one. Very few improvements, really the hook blades all they got. So many side quests and mini challenges to keep me occupied. Having played this for now 2 wks I amazed I'm still in sequence 3, too busy completing the Romulus Lairs, Courtesan, Mercenary, Thief, Flags and Feather challenges. So thank you yodafett1 for the Winter Break experience and keeping me away from my much needy friends. 5/5 in the Assassin's Trilogies.
You have so much you can do.Quest or just assassinate guard's on rooftops is hour's of fun.I may have to miss a day of work or two. The movements are great.Arrow storm rocks.So does having assassin's at a whistle.A few glitches when a fight breaks out.Doesn't go into battle mode right away.Other wise one of the best games ever.And I don't make that statement lightly.I'm a huge God Of War and Prince Of Persia fan.
nice ass box and the extras inside. Great for the Assassins Series in a collection. If you got the other games you should have this one to add too your group. Also the new Assassins Creed will be coming out the end of this year (check gameinformer). Keep an eye out for that one =3.
