This is a bit long in the tooth, but not so old as to the point the parts are unavailable. It has stuff from automotive to power supplies to, tuning circuits, and even a few musical circuits. The references to magazines where many of the circuits came from is helpful too. It is not great, but a good reference book of stuff that is not too old or advanced for someone to put to use. It is new enough to not have a bunch of 739 chips that went the way of the dinosaur, so if one should desire implementing one of these schematics it is not too hard to find parts. It is a pretty generalized book with a smattering of everything. The period is the early 70s. There is some digital, but mostly TTL, BCD and the like. I put it above average, as I have used it some myself, but it is not spectacular. It does have some very good information that can be used many places.Read full review
